Low Temperature Microwave Emission from Molecular Clusters
We investigate the experimental detection of the electromagnetic radiation generated in the fast magnetization reversal in Mn12–acetate at low temperatures. In our experiments we used large single crystals and assemblies of several small single crystals of Mn12–acetate placed inside a cylindrical stainless steel waveguide in which an InSb hot electron device was also placed to detect the radiat...

Microwave assisted low temperature synthesis of MnZn ferrite nanoparticles
MnZnFe2O4 ferrite nanoparticles were prepared by co-precipitation method using a microwave heating system at temperature of 100 C. X-ray diffraction reveals the samples as prepared are pure ferrite nanocrystalline phase, transmission electron microscopy image analysis shows particles are in agglomeration state with an average size of about 10 nm, furthermore, crystal size of samples are increas...
Microwave-assisted Low-temperature Growth of Thin Films in Solution
Thin films find a variety of technological applications. Assembling thin films from atoms in the liquid phase is intrinsically a non-equilibrium phenomenon, controlled by the competition between thermodynamics and kinetics. We demonstrate here that microwave energy can assist in assembling atoms into thin films directly on a substrate at significantly lower temperatures than conventional proces...
